Ordering & Payments
Orders can be placed online, over the phone or in store.
Payments are securely processed online by our carefully selected payment processors. Phone and store payments are securely processed by our Data Protection compliant staff.
All data collected from customers is solely used by us (The Ability Shop/Ability Bathing Ltd) for the completion of orders and for our marketing if you (the customer) opts into our mailing list.
No products will be dispatched until full payment is received including the postage.
Shipping is within the UK mainland ONLY.

There may be instances where we may need to contact you about your order either via email or telephone. This could be for various reasons including but not limited to:
Problems with payment, product availability issues, missing information needed, VAT exemption queries, etc.
Payments will show up on your statement as Ability Bathing Ltd.
Individuals who are chronically sick or disabled and whose products are for personal use, or charities where the products are made available to a disabled person for their own personal use, may be eligible for VAT Relief.
By selecting that you qualify for VAT exemption on the qualifying products you are completing a self declaration that you or the persons you are buying the product for, suffer from a chronic illness or disability and must include details of this in the comments on checkout.
If at a later date HMRC deem that you do not qualify for VAT exemption then you will be liable to pay the VAT owed.
All product information supplied on our website is supplied by the manufacturers. The Ability Shop & Ability Bathing Ltd do not accept any responsibility for any incorrect product information (unless it has been found to be an error on our part when publishing the information on our website).

Orders can be cancelled within 20 minutes of ordering by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01778 560760. After this time the order becomes a return and will fall under our returns policy.
Returns can only be accepted within 14 days. Items should be in an unused condition and in original packaging. Items returned after 14 days or do not come back to us in an acceptable state will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
Items such as bespoke, bathroom/toileting and personal care items may not be eligible for a refund unless found to be faulty or damaged on delivery.
To arrange a return of an item please contact us via email at . You will need to provide your order number or proof of receipt which will be found in your order confirmation email. Please send all returns to: The Ability Shop, Waterside Garden Centre, King Street, Baston, PE6 9NY.
Depending on the item/nature of the return we may provide you with a returns label or we may ask you to return it yourself which we recommend you send as tracked parcel.
Once we have received the item(s) back we will inspect them. Once a decision has been made we will contact you to confirm if you are eligible for a refund or not. If you qualify for a refund we will process the payment as soon as possible. If you do not receive the refund or an email confirming payment has been made back to your account within 7 days of refund approval then please contact us.
